Galaxy Diagnostics reports Virginia Tech licensing agreement in LymeX Diagnostics Prize update

9 March 2026 — In a mid-phase update from the LymeX Diagnostics Prize, Galaxy Diagnostics, one of seven Phase 4 teams, reported a technology licensing agreement with Virginia Tech to integrate Dr Brandon Jutras’s Borrelia peptidoglycan research into its diagnostic portfolio, pairing the antigen with Galaxy’s urine-based detection platform ahead of joint clinical-sample evaluation.
