Fort Lauderdale church replaces 980-foot seawall with a Kind Designs Living Seawall

13 May 2026 — WLRN reports that Church-by-the-Sea in Fort Lauderdale is replacing its 980-foot seawall with a Kind Designs Living Seawall, having raised nearly $1.6 million of the $1.75 million project cost, with completion targeted for spring 2027. The report cites expected oyster filtration of around one million gallons of water a day.
